Housing
This project aims to create a sophisticated, elegant building that fits the urban edge while maintaining a simple, low-profile design. The architecture uses robust, coastal materials to reflect both a casual and refined aesthetic.
The design minimises building mass near side and rear boundaries by positioning ancillary services within a low podium and semi-basement car park. The main residential mass is centralised and slimline, allowing for significant setbacks from adjacent properties and optimising daylight and amenity whilst providing visual separation.
The tower’s bulk is carefully articulated with corner balconies, horizontal banding, and vertical breaks to reduce visual impact and align with surrounding urban elements. Residential-scale frontages on the podium enhance the human scale of the street elevation, activating the street and elevating ground-floor units for privacy. Landscaping, including green walls, offers a visual buffer to the street and connects to the nearby park, providing privacy and visual amenity.
