With thirteen years of experience across Aotearoa, Yue has contributed to a diverse range of projects spanning residential, public realm, community, and mixed-use environments. Her design philosophy is grounded in creating spaces that are robust yet human-scaled, functional, sustainable, and adaptable over time. She believes the best landscapes are those that evolve with their communities, carrying the narratives of the people and places they serve while remaining firmly grounded in good design principles and policy frameworks.
Yue has a particular interest in climate-resilient communities, water-sensitive design, and building climate literacy into the fabric of everyday environments. Her work consistently seeks to translate complex environmental and policy imperatives into spaces that feel intuitive, meaningful, and alive.
Collaborative and culturally engaged, Yue brings genuine care to how teams work together, valuing clear communication, shared process, and the kind of cultural sensitivity that makes multidisciplinary collaboration richer and outcomes more responsive to the full range of people a project serves.
