Registered Architect
BAS MArch(Prof)(Hons)
Teresa brings experience across a diverse range of projects, including private residential, social housing, boutique commercial, aged care, outpatient healthcare, and education. She has supported clients through all stages of the architectural process, from early concept design through to project delivery.
Her passion for thoughtful and beautiful design led her to architecture, while the opportunity to contribute to more sustainable and ecologically responsive built environments continues to shape her approach. She is particularly interested in design that responds sensitively to context while contributing to positive environmental outcomes.
Teresa’s experience includes leading a complex mass-timber education project on a challenging site in Hawke’s Bay. Responding carefully to its heritage context, the project reflects her interest in lower-carbon materials and the role architecture can play in supporting a more sustainable construction industry.
She is particularly interested in the relationship between architecture and landscape, and how this connection can enhance the human experience at both a site-specific and urban scale. Teresa also has a strong interest in healthcare design, where considered architecture and the quality of the built environment can play a meaningful role in supporting people at times of vulnerability.
Outside of practice, Teresa contributes to the Hastings District Landmarks Trust as an Executive Committee member, supporting its work to celebrate and enhance Hastings through landscape, history, architecture, and art in public places.
