Lars joined Designgroup Stapleton Elliott in 2025 as an Architectural Graduate, contributing a passion for architecture that thoughtfully supports people, place, and environment. Completing his architectural studies at the Victoria University of Wellington, he has developed a foundation in both technical and design skills, underpinned by a keen interest in how architecture can elevate our everyday experiences.

Lars thrives in collaborative environments, where diverse perspectives contribute to design solutions that are both innovative and grounded in place. He is particularly interested in projects that uplift people’s well-being and imbue community engagement and long-term resilience.

Approaching each project with a measured and considered perspective, Lars is motivated by design that is authentic, culturally attuned, and capable of fostering positive, long-lasting connections with its users.
