Josh is an Architectural Graduate with a strong passion for arts and design. His career began in the Philippines where he studied Fine Arts, leading to work as a Graphic Designer and gaining extensive industry experience in both the Philippines and New Zealand. His creative path eventually brought him into architecture, where he focuses on the human side of design.

His master’s work engaged with communities rarely represented in architecture and explored how spaces could support inclusion and a sense of belonging. In 2024, he received the Team Architects Premium Award and the NZIA Student Design Award for his work, reflecting his commitment to people-centred and inclusive designs.

As he progresses in his career, Josh’s focus is to contribute work that recognises the diverse ways people relate to space and to create environments that are grounded in lived experience and responsive to the communities they serve. He looks forward to applying his skills within practice, contributing to thoughtful project outcomes.
