Charles Roucher

Senior Technician

NZDAT BCom

Charles recently joined DGSE as a Senior Architectural Technician. Having moved to New Zealand from his native France some 25 years ago, he has spent over 10 years working with several architectural firms and a variety of designers across New Zealand and Australia. This experience has helped shape his understanding of local cultural and social values.

With New Zealand qualifications in Architectural Technology and Business, Charles has worked with a wide range of clients across Industrial, Residential, and Commercial projects. Some of these have held significant cultural value, such as Te Manawataki o Te Papa—the new museum and Civic Whare in Tauranga—and the new Tongan Parliament Building, Fale Alea.

As a Technician and Model Manager, Charles is tech-savvy and keeps a close eye on the evolving demands of BIM. Matching ambitious design intent with precise, detailed construction drawings is central to his role.
