Anton works in DGSE’s Auckland Studio across multiple fields of architecture and sectors. Experienced in all design stages he has found his niche within construction detailing and documentation, focusing on the “constructability” of a design.

Anton has a strong knowledge of national and separate sectors’ building standards, having dealt with City Councils across most of New Zealand, and different Government agencies. He also has a clear understanding of what is required in order to push a project from documentation through to construction. His experience of BIM coordination, working cohesively with consultants, contractors and clients throughout the documentation process.

Anton’s recent work includes a full BIM coordinated design for an Interim Post-Entry Quarantine (IPEQ) Facility for MPI; and a multitude of various projects from Lab upgrades to MPI offices, upgrades to NZDF Facilities, and Residential extensions.

Anton honours his Māori heritage. Respecting the importance of Tikanga, he actively considers local and cultural procedures and processes within architecture and construction. He is a founding member of DGSE’s Indigenous Design Rōpū (IDR).
