Prior to joining Designgroup Stapelton Elliott, Adam has worked extensively with multiple architectural firms gaining work experience spanning new builds, renovations and alterations of residential dwellings, cultural and larger-scale residential projects, and bespoke aluminium balustrade and screening systems across New Zealand. 

Adam has a good understanding of the design process having delivered projects from project establishment to observation; this has led to a strong balance of project management, creativity, and technical expertise.

Adam believes architecture is a living, breathing expression of the society it serves as a physical record of cultural values, community needs, and social expression. All of these elements influence his design philosophy and physical response to place-making.
